Honeymoon at Disney Universal Studios

Posted in Disney , Travel on August 6th, 2011 by Camis ^ ^ ^ ^ - 10 Comments

And we come to the last park of our trip to Orlando ... snif, snif, snif ... But even though we will not have fun without a little more, and can "get" in famous movies like Jaws, Terminator, stay near the Simpsons, Shrek among many things that I will mention here.

Universal Studios was opened in June 1990, and the intention of the park was that you could literally enter the biggest hits of the producer. We love everything the park, but for the most demanding it can seem a little stale. Some attractions like Jaws and ET, are away from the beauty and technology eg the newly opened World of Harry Potter has. Massss it does not take away the shine of the park, and some openings are planned for 2012, and some are already there that has not, so ... let's go.

On the day we visited Universal Studios was the opening party of Halloween Horror Nights Halloween party in the park. Do not buy tickets to this party, but she is super trendy (they arm the whole park with islands of terror those already says it is really creepy). The park was being all decorated for the party night and every time we left the press was there to cover the event.

Universal Studios is divided into six thematic areas that surround a huge pond. Started by Production Central. . In this area we find two attractions, the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, and Shrek 4D. The mountain Rip Ride was not working that day ... I was very sad because I really wanted to go on this attraction, it you can choose which soundtrack will want to fly the route. Besides being the tallest roller coaster in Orlando.

Shrek 4D is a 4D movie and fun that shows what happened in the interval between the first and second film. The best is to shop at the exit of the attraction with a lot of plush Shrek and the donkey ear with adjustable-angle bows or ogres. + + More »

Honeymoon at Disney Hollywood Studios

Yes, we come to the last Disney park complex (tears in eyes) ... Disney's Hollywood Studios, Hollywood Studios or just for the more intimate, old Disney-MGM Studios. Opened in 1989, was inspired by the Hollywood heyday of the years 30-40. This park has complete facilities for recording movies and Disney, but nowadays it is not so used for such purposes as before. It is the park I always dreamed of going because of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, a haunted attraction Hotel has a lift too crazy.

Of all the parks of the complex that is smaller and so we had the impression of being the most crowded. Definitely was the park we face more queues. As the attractions in this park are longer and there are plenty of shows, we also have more time to manage. Anyway Park is a beautiful and charming.

But let's calm down a little excitement and talk about each area of the park. There are six areas. But unlike other parks these areas are not as well defined. In fact when entering the park the feeling you get is that you got a movie set, with various scenarios for various films.

You arrive at the park by Hollywood Boulevard, which is what Main Street is in the Magic Kingdom , a street full of shops selling beautiful things. At the end of the street and the center of the park is its symbol, the Sorcerer Mickey hat, that of Fantasia. This hat is illuminated at night as much. One tip is that for collectors pins underneath the hat Pin trading is one station where you can buy and trade pins with other people, even with the cast members. Incidentally the cast members often have unique and rare Pins stay tuned. + + More »

Honeymoon at Disney: Discovery Cove, swimming with dolphins

Posted in Disney , Travel on July 6th, 2011 by Camis ^ ^ ^ ^ - 4 Comments

Imagine you are in a paradise island with coral reef, tropical rivers and can interact with dolphins, exotic fish, stingrays, colorful birds in short, all nature around you, but with a quiosquinho with snacks and drink "the good" and easy totally free to eat up not wanting more ... as it is, this island is! It's called Discovery Cove and is a chain of parks Sea World in Orlando.

Coral Reef

Discovery Cove is a park totally different from others of Orlando, starting it is a park that has closed limit daily visitors are only 1,000 per day. The major attraction of this park is the swimming with the dolphins, and is due to this that the park limits the number of visitors.

Beach and Waterfalls (this water is hot)

The park has a climate VIP, you do not pay parking, pay the food, and will have the whole day to enjoy their pools clean waters, its sands branquinhas, the nature of their safest .

We arrived at the park around 10:30, when entering the reception you show your ticket and staff services schedule the time you do the swimming with the dolphins, they give you a badge with your photo and your name and from this time you already realize as this is a different park.

Pool of stingrays

As we arrived a little late the restaurants were already closing their doors for coffee, I was a little sad because I lost the opportunity to take that leitinho in box American, I've seen both Kevin Arnold take on the series The Wonder Years. Not to mention the cupcakes and muffins. But ok. + + More »

Honeymoon at Disney: Sea World

Posted in Disney , Travel on June 14th, 2011 by Camis ^ ^ ^ ^ - 4 Comments

If you, like me, are those people who think you will not like either Sea World just because you do not enjoy much of those National Geographic documentaries, you will see that one thing has nothing to do with the other so step into that park. The experience of seeing the marine life at Sea World is much more intense than keep changing channel on TV remote.

Sea World is a very beautiful park, clean, organized and have an atmosphere that makes you want to get more and more inside. Its mascot Shamu the whale, the main character of the park. A curiosity is that the name Shamu was given the first whale that survived more than 13 months in captivity (it was the fourth to be captured in the world) and became famous after he began performing at Sea World San Diego.

In the parking lot of the park you will see by far the Manta, the roller coaster newest and different too. Manta you will stuck in the cart like a stingray, a position of "superman" but with bent legs (rsrsrsrs). And the aquarium stingrays you go through the queue before entering this attraction is simply wonderful, drool, I had never seen an aquarium so wonderful here. Besides getting into the mood of the mountain can not help but get in the mood to protect marine life.

Honeymoon at Disney: Busch Gardens

Posted in Disney , Travel on May 24th, 2011 by Camis ^ ^ ^ ^ - 3 Comments

If you think these posts are very cuddly Disney, but what you really likes excitement, this post is for you. Busch Gardens is one of Florida's most radical parks. I can not say that Orlando is because he is in Tampa Bay, approximately 120 kilometers from International Drive (Avenue "central" Orlando I've said in other posts). The drive gives about 1 hour and a half.

Roads Orlando

The Busch Gardens attractions mix well radical (most of them rollercoasters) with a zoo. Of all the famous parks was the first to arise in Florida in 1959, and a curiosity is that part of the premises of Busch brewery and its initial proposal was educational, showing birds and exotic pets. The park grew and eventually closing brewery (it was what is now the attraction Gwazi, one of the first roller coasters that we see upon entering the park).

Being a park away from Orlando, Busch Gardens is usually emptier than the most popular parks, and people usually manage to repeat attractions. The climate of the park is also quite different from the parks "stars". You will not have the same glamor and technology of Orlando attractions, but be able to get very close to gangurus, birds and other pets, and for anyone who loves animals very worthwhile (I still regret not having bought a photo where we were giving comidinha pros kangaroos = [).

The mountains of Bush Gardens were the most gave me goose bumps. Gwazi is the mountain that is at the entrance going to the left, is a mountain of wood, and has two separate routes, as the park was empty and had only one route available. Chacolha enough, but it falls very cool.

After we left the Gwazi were walking and looking at the beauty of the flora of the park. And we found the Walkabout Way is in this way that we can cuddle and give food for the kangaroos. We were delighted and even saw a baby kangaroo 8 months fofissímo.

We left super happy with the bugs and we ended up in another area of interaction, this time with birds, the Lory Land. We bought a cup to give to the animals and they came to the mountains, I was with birdie on both arms and head! Madness as they like smelling liquid gum facing us give to them.
